Is it possible to randomly hatch a Pokemon with a hidden ability?

Because I swear neither of his parents has their hidden ability and I just hatched a Big Pecks Pidgey in my quest for a shiny.

Yes, that can happen if neither parent has a hidden ability, but that has a stupidly small chance of happening. I've heard of if happening, but have never seen it, so consider yourself lucky, I guess.
