I've been with Showderp for almost the entirety of its lifespan, and I have to say, you guys are making a mockery of what was once the greatest feature on /vp/. No longer is this about a group of Showdown users trying out underused sets and theorymons while cracking jokes and messing with the opponents. No longer are the champions actually competent. Now it's about a group of Showdown users copy pasting the sets right from Smogon and giving them a "funny" name. Skydoge? It's the first goddamn set on the Smogon page, and every one of you newfags dickrides it even though its a goddamn flinchhax set. Not only that, the champions are some of the worst players I've ever seen, even by Showdown standards. Back in the day hpsauce was the benchmark for a bad champ because he made one bad move. Now if a champ only makes mistakes HALF the match he's seen as the second coming of Arceus for it.
And another thing? You have all these faggots skipping the few Pokemon that AREN'T the Smogon sets and everyone acts like its perfectly ok. Back in the golden age of Showderp that shit wouldn't fly. And your fucking may mays. You guys just sit in battle chat all day spamming the same jokes we created when showderp started, and you beat them into the fucking ground. You guys ruin jokes faster than the internet killed that whole arrow to the knee shit.
And then you have the AUDACITY to talk shit to the few oldfags that are kind enough to stick around and try to make things the way they used to be. You act like they're the cancer and you can't even tell what a fucking horrible presence you are to the community. I never bought into the story that reddit flocked to /vp/ during the X/Y hype until you newfags killed showderp faster than reddit can crank out an epic meme. I'm fucking done with you guys. I've tried for months but there is no possible way to save this shithole from what you turned it into.
