I've been resetting for a while to try and get a female pumpkaboo from the mystery gift event, but it's always male. Are mystery gift Pokémon gender locked?

It's locked once you donwload the gift.

Don't even bother believing who says otherwise, I've soft reseted more than 200 times for a female pumpkaboo and never got it.

Yeah, it's probably locked.

Breed it with a Ditto, if you want to breed it. It'll count size by the father, instead of mother, in this case.
