I've prebred my ORAS team.
IVs are okay but certainly not perfect.
Abilities weren't factored.
Natures are okay but not optimal.
I'm using eight pokemon from lvl 1 to counter the increased experience points. I will use one team of four and level them up by 5. Then use the other four and raise them. Each time all my pokemon are levelled I will begin again, except use a different combination of four of these mons.
I like prebreeding my team but I don't like the stupid mechanic of increased experience points.

Not him, but I've pre-bred my team too, mostly because Gen 3 is full of literal shitmons that have no moves. I mean I'd love to play the game normally and have a Mightyena on my team but literally the only attack it ever learns is Bite (until Level 63 at least). I'd love to use a Swellow but all it learns is Wing Attack. They're boring.

This. The transfer exp. multiplier is just ridiculously overpowered.
Not to mention if you breed for IVs and nature, and even goes as far as to EV train them.

Using 1 pokemon for the entire game (save HM slaves) makes the game extremely easy, much easier than anything else listed here. There's a reason why many kids plow through with their starter: it works. With one pokemon plowing through gaining all of the exp, they get massively over-levelled. Types and moves mostly cease to matter. For shits and giggles I even did this exact thing in a run of Crystal using only an unevolved Poliwag and HM slaves. I experienced no challenge whatsoever.

the johto starters dont have enough power, bulk or speed to kill everything, the kanto starters suffer at the elite 4, the kalos starters dont get good enough movepools before the postgame

If you catch it as anAzurill.
As of XY mons that cant breed have 3 perfecr IVs upon capture.
So legendaries and baby mons.
Eg azurill.
Cant believe how often this needs to be said

And this is how I factually know you're wrong. You can easily solo every game with a single pokemon by simply killing everything you come across with it. You'll overlevel it in no time in all games except in Gen V due to the Exp mechanics. Maybe Gen VI too, I don't know, I haven't played it.

Meganium can't get naturally overlevelled at all, it gets absolutely shit on by the first two Gyms so you actually have to give levels to something else (unless you spend hours grinding against lvl 3 wilds early on, which is different since technically you could get to level 100 like that).

On the other hand Typhlosion is enough to beat every trainer in GSC other than Claire and Lance.

Nah, from what I've heard you actually reach lv100 faster with the gen V formula than any previous gen, unless your fighting something ridiculous like lv20's all the time.

Your pokemon will hit walls. Like getting past the first gym takes about 45 minutes of grinding because you're stuck battling a bunch of wild Lv.5 critters that only give like 14 exp. by the time it reaches Lv.13.

An Arceus that has been equally EV trained in all stats.

It has ingame excellent stats. Enough to survive anything, enough to outrun most stuff enough to OHKO anything that doesn't resist it. It also has a godly (pun intended) movepool with opptions such as Judgement and Extreme Speed if needed to be.

It also has the unique capacity of changing its typing acording to your needs at any moment provided you have the respective plate. Steel gym?, Fighting Arceus, Water Gym?, Electric Arceus, Dragon Gym?, Fairy Arceus.

You can't go wrong with Religion

I thought it could be quite hard to do a solo run with a shitmon.
I remember watching a gen II let's play where he used a Hoppip. He had to use tons of revives and shit during the end even though he had reached 100.
It was quite fun to watch, I recommend it.

Not true!

My first time through Gold was with Meganium, and I soloed the entire thing. My Bayleef was overleveled enough to handle Pidgeotto, but Bugsy's Scyther, hoo boy.

Fury Cutter always took out Meganium before it could take out Scyther, and the move eventually became a OHKO so Potions didn't even help. It seemed impossible, but I was a determined little kid. Fury Cutter missed, and I won.

Nidoran M -> Nidoking in Gen 1 is the only time I've tried to break the game. But it does a damn good job of it, having a 'king by Mt. Moon and TM'ing all the useful moves just wrecks the game.

I should try other Gens with solo mons to break things, might actually be a challenge if I limit exp intake... maybe trainer only, no wilds...

Sandile and Drilbur break gen 5 in game. Really, Krookodile, a Flying type (Braviary is my favorite and you get it early in BW 2) and a fast fighting type (Lucario works in BW2, but I used Virizion) is all you need to nail the whole elite 4.

Gen 1 easy mode is either Bulbasaur or Diglett. Bulbasaur destroys the first 3 gyms, while Diglett is a crit machine and can use dig as a free escape rope in that god damn rock tunnel. Also he makes the third gym nearly impossible to lose.
