Okay so with my 3DS in the shop for a while cause sm4sh destroyed my circle pad, I've resorted to trying to breed for a shiny Eevee on my Crystal version to play Eager Eevee with in Stadium 2.

I did the shiny Ditto trick trading the Red Gyarados to Red as seen in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Lb5pq0y6h8 (apologies for the shitty music) and it resulted it a neat shiny Ditto whom I named "ShinybAit".

Queue the forever breeding which included using the double-speed (fastest Stadium 2 can make Crystal go) tower button through the transfer pack and getting five eggs at a time with no hatching O-powers or Flame Body to help me cause lolol gentoo.

I've heard the chances of getting a shiny in gen 2 by breeding a shiny parent are 1:64 because of how DVs (the gen2 version of IVs) pass down in the game and I hatched 64 regular old brown eevees last night to no avail. Am I just unlucky?
