That's actually not a bad idea. I've played the Hoenn games a million times over the past decade, maybe a different starter could shake things up a little?
I've been wanting to play a game with Snivy for a while, but I'm not that big a fan of B/W.

Fuck that, I'm importing an entire team of Mega-capable pokemon. Buneary, Mawile, Larvitar, Swablu, Bagon, and Makuhita because he's a fucking bro and I'm really disappointed that Hariyama hasn't received a Mega reveal.
