If you want to not buy something, then don't buy it. Once you've done that, then go away from /vp/, as people will buy the game and will talk about it until whatever 3rd game comes out. People won't stop buying it because of your preferences.

When did I say I was canceling/boycotting? If anything, I distrust all sidesa equally, so I'll wait until something substantial comes out before I even think of touching this. I just want to see how real this shitstorm is, because I haven't seen anything this bad since Megas were confirmed.

Why would you think you cant use the XY Mega stones in ORAS? I doubt most of the stones will be available again (Mawilite probably will be, but not Mewtwonite or Garchompite)

If you only count new megas + the old Hoenn megas + Muh gen 1 starters, youve still probably got more Mega Stones in Hoenn than in Kalos

That was obvious.
Patches are on 3ds.
Saves are on cart.
If you change 3ds after you got patch items you lose them or get glitches.

Didn't have that problem with X/Y 1.2 patch.
(probably because everyone did it?---which is exactly the same thing that will happen with a new patch).

Also I'm 90% sure that the save structure doesn't have free room for new stuff, so even if you patch it, you can't save new content.

They'll probably add a graphic patch however, so you can at least SEE new megas.
