To be fair you guys the full game a week before us rather than this limited content. I will say that you'll enjoy it though. The movement is improved to no end, the music sounds fantastic, and the graphics have been improved. The bottom menu also has so many possibilities as well with the new Nav system.

yeah the demo was fun, i'm glad we can transfer m-glalie over. i really like the sneaking feature, think it'll be a fun, simpler way to save time breeding for egg moves and a good way to find HA pokemon. Kinda hoping the friend safari rules apply, ie the IV thing. will be transferring my 6iv ditto obviously but will make the overall process quicker.

None, sadly. You can't catch pokemon in the demo, but the website outlines what will be available via this method. The sneaking works well as you hear cries and rustling in the overworld and then just gently walk through. I also think if you sneak you won't encounter wild pokemon.

Nostallgiafags are seemingly the only ones going m-muh pre-order cancelled. By playing the demo, I'm already in love with all the changes they implemented. What excites me the most is seeing what the other updated areas of Hoenn look like, and what they did to the Battle Frontier (a small part of me hopes they still have battle tents, but eh). What disappoints me is that there are megas, no new evolutions for pre-existing mons. Just a tonne of worthless megas (sorry Glalie and Pidgeot). Give us something new already far as Poke options.

I think Japan is the only one that gets Steelix because of them being country of origin.
NA MIGHT get Steelix as well, but I doubt it. However they won't get something not yet seen. Since the press release seemed unintentional and leaked only Glalie and Steelix's artwork.

Eh, maybe I'm just out of touch with what the rest of the fanbase wants. I think customization is cool, but I'm not concerned about losing it, same thing with pokemon following you in the past. I wish they were in, but I'm not flipping a shit because they aren't. I also wouldn't have been torn up about amie not being in if that had happened. Maybe I'm just too easy to please.

Normally, I prefer a solid player design over the fairly weak and lackluster customization from X/Y

why would they include new evos in the same gen? if anything this is a better way to shake things up and get new content/pokemon as well as the postgame shit that usually gets added in remakes/3rd versions
