Is Competitive/Assault Vest Wigglytuff viable at all?
I know Ray Rizzo has had some success with one, but I can't figure out how or why.
I've run the numbers and with max investment in HP, Sp. Def and Def, it's still OHKO'd every time.
And even with max Sp. Att, Thunder only 2HKOs Gyrados, one of the most common Intimidate users (which is the whole point of running Competitive in the first place).
Is it only used as a deterrent (as in, "hey, look at me, don't send out your Intimidate user, or I'll get a +2 boost to my Special Attack!") or is there some trick to getting it to work well?
