Legal Pickpocket/Endure Weavile. It's not the best strategy out there, but I can't complain.

Pretty happy that Hawlucha gets Drain Punch and Superpower, too. High Jump Kick's recoil is just awful.

You can't set up seeds, keep up a sub and use Spike Shield.

Setting up seeds means you lose one turn of sub/shielding, which will kill you.

Setting up a sub every turn will kill you before the recoil kills Talonflame.

Shielding every other turn make you too predictable and gives your opponent a free switch into something else.

Exact same tutors as Platinum, which more or less are the same tutors as BW2, which are more or less the same tutors as ORAS.

They seem to tweak the selection a little each generation, but they've been pretty much unchanged since Gen 4.

Dazzling Gleam is nice for dealing with Dragon and Dark certainly but also a bit redundant since it'll now have a coverage and a STAB move to SU Fighting types.

You know what I mean though. Stuff like Energy Ball and Thunder/Thunderbolt would be nice and flavorfull for a mage.

Drop the Psychic STAB it is usually useless anyway due to the prevalence of Dark types anyway. Also Greninja is now unwallable since it now has Gunk Shot and Low Kick to deal with Faries and Blobs. Really needs an Ubers tier 1 and Ubers tier 2 now to deal with the current power creep this generation.
