The item list shows the testing items are near the front in index order, while the new Mega stones are at the end. Assuming Sceptilite is the first one in index order, there is room for 24 Mega stones introduced in ORAS. We have seen 18, assuming there is a special item for Groudon and Kyogre. We're looking at a 70% chance for six more, 30% chance for four.
