Dark Pulse wasn't a TM in gen 5, which is why it made sense for it to be a tutor move.

They had no problem telling us that tutors are back, and the data makes no attempt to hide that... but ask about the Battle Frontier Which seems to have been replaced by the Battle Resort and not even hacking the game tells you anything significant.
At the very least, they seem to be releasing details to match what can be extracted from the demo. If nothing else, they anticipated the possibility of the demo being dumped and planned accordingly. Alt. Hoopa probably got through because we weren't supposed to know about Hoopa in the first place.
