You boost until nothing kills you because Crits don't exist, whereas normal Slowbro is going to be better if you need the Mega slot for something else or when you're going to switch more. FURTHER, this is a much better ability for Doubles or VGC and you can still abstain from going Mega when you want health from switching. Then, Mega Evolve when your opponent's threats are gone and boost until you win.
