What do you think Pokemon will do to keep things fresh/interesting?

Some people suggest pokemon fusions. Bill's accident could have changed the future of Pokemon. Maybe with the first Pokemon taking on the seconds characteristics? Next level double battling.

Pokemon Negative. Your character enters something like Giratina's void where Pokemon are reversed/different. Could let them reprise old ideas.

My personal favorite is more primals. Maybe even get sent back to the old days and see how Pokemon became legends themselves. Pic related.
