So there's no reason to raise any pokemon in XY anymore thanks to the ORAS polygon being different and XY pokes being unable to be used in the ORAS league, right?

You can still trade pokemon over and battle, silly. There's only restrictions on new megas, that's why ORAS league exists.

Still though, XY are pretty much not much needed anymore with all the content ORAS is going to have.

No, XY Pokés can be used in the ORAS league.

There's no reason NOT to raise any Pokémon in XY, now it's confirmed that nothing gets any new egg moves.

So let me get this straight.
If i were to breed me a team of 6 lvl 1 pokemon in xy and trade them over to oras, i can level with them but can't beat the champ with them?
