I go to Rintah, and I find out that Gabrieleon lied to Claire about being its Guardian Trainer; she just LOOKS like it and Gabrieleon was trying to pretend.
I go up a mountain, and Gabrieleon found its real trainer, Diana. Diana keeps calling him Nefari, then she takes Nefari out of him as
>>21362962 brought up, and I have to fight both of them. Diana has a really awful sprite, Perish Song. Diana winks out of existence for some reason, I go back to Rintah, and an old man tells me of their backstory.
Diana was chosen as Gabrieleon's trainer. Gabrieleon helps out sucky people (I guess that's why he picked Claire), but Diana liked Dark Pit better. One day Diana was asked to become a Shaman, but Gabrieleon said no because, apparently, Gabrieleon was Maylene's trainer (for those that don't remember, Maylene was Stealth's girlfriend and was murdered and sacrificed to a Legendary years ago). Gabrieleon took her to the top of a mountain, the town thought he went mad so they went to kill him, but Diana got in front of the blow.
That's where the story ends. Did she died? Iunno, I got my McGuffin so that's all that matters.
For the seventh, Leana gives me a mission (because now they're acting like I always picked the good path) to track down some thug in Vextra Forest. Surprise surprise, it's the Felinar douche, Richard, who has caught Felinar and will now battle me. His team consists of Espeon/Pidgeot/Simisage/Rapidash/Blastoise/Felinar, the highest being at Lv. 97.
After I beat him he challenges me again, same team.
After I beat him he challenges me AGAIN, same team.
When I beat him a third time, he finally gives up, tells me he was doing this to save Diana (the person I just inadvertently killed), then he also winks out of existence, somehow.
