Doing a play through of Crystal because I can, but having issues with my final team. So far thinking of:
Typhlosion
Donphan
Ursaring
Poliwrath
Victreebel

All caught before Cherrygrove,which is nice. I'm struggling with picking a flyer, however. Don't want any type overlap, which rules out the regular birds and Noctowl. Crobat is a no unless I swap out Victreebel for Exeggutor, but the fact I can't get Giga Drain until Erika is a pain. My only other options would be Xatu, whose offensive prowess consists of Future Sight and Night Shade, Skarmory who's kinda redundant with Donphan, or Extremespeed Dragonite, who is very late game.

Tl;dr help me refine my Crystal team?
