Hariyama is good, it won the senior division world championship in 2010 (highest age division at the time, masters division was created in 2011.) Aaron Zheng recently used it to win Philadelphia regionals, an extremely competitive reg. His use of it at 2014 worlds led to it becoming popular in 2014 VGC despite his lackluster finish there. It's used with gothitelle to set up trick room

I tried using it as a pseudo-Conkeldurr with Adamant Assault Vest Guts 252Atk/252Def/6SpD and Fake Out, Bullet Punch, Revenge and Knock Off. It was pretty decent.

I run Lanturn with full EV investment in its Def and SpD and it worked out since it already has huge HP, it's the recommended EV spread on Smogon too so i assumed it'd work with Hariyama as well with its even bigger base HP stat.

I use Fake Out/Knock Off/Wide Guard/STAB (I think I have Cross Chop because I don't like losing defense) in my Trick Room team. It's my favourite fighting type too.
