I know that Megas are almost always a vast improvement on the original, but anything that isn't Refrigerated STAB is going to hit like a Japanese Salaryman coming from itemless base 120 Attack, which might be enough to dent some things, but it's not going to be of much help against anything with actual bulk.
NU, like every other tier, is flooded with bulky water types. Some of them are even Ice-types. It is almost trivial to find something that can eat anything Mega Glalie can dish out, even in NU.
