Ok /vp/, I wanna see how you guys evolved through the years. List your favorite pokemon type when you started playing the series and your favorite type right now. Why did it changed?

Favourite type when I was younger was probably Dragon

I remember being extremely hyped over finding Rayquaza in Emerald, despite taking days to find the Sky Tower

Then I played Diamond and caught Dialga, I fucking loved it, good typing, good stats, good movepool, good design. I thought everything about it was perfect, I used it all the time, it carried my team against Cynthia and her fucking Garchomp

Then I came to a point where I was like "I don't care about legendaries anymore" and I just stopped playing Pokemon and missed out GenV

Then I came back at one point this gen and went back to GenV, it was pretty good

But at this point, my favourite type is Steel, so many of them are great

Nowadays I realized how much I like rock types and how I've used many of them without even noticing. I love Golem, Aerodactyl, Onix, Sudowoodo and such.

Favourite type was fire for obvious reasons.

Favourite type now is probably electric or fighting. I don't really know why, but I love their attack animations.

When I first started playing I loved Grass types. Bulbasaur was my first starter the first time I played Blue and my final team was something like Bulbasaur, Parasect, Vileplume, Exeggcutor, Pidgeot and Tentacruel.

Favorite type now is easily Normal. Changed a little after Diamond and Pearl came out. I ended up joining an online RP group and the DM-figure gave me a Bidoof as my starter, a Pidgey as my first capture and a Snorlax on down the line. I guess I just got autistically connected to those Pokemon because I was pretty sad when the RP shut down.

So basically
