I'm still gonna have a go at Physical Sceptile. That slight Att increase + Swords Dance + Leaf Blade + Outrage + Drain Punch is too good an offer to pass. Just because its Special movepool is tits.

I love M-Sceptile's ridiculous Speed, but it won't get the boost on the turn it mega evolves. Might consider Timid after all.

Then again, with no boosting moves other than donking with Lightningrod, special Sceptile might need all the power it can get.

Do you think Modest Sceptile is fast enough on the first turn?

I wish there was a place where i could find suggested movesets, like smogon but for in-game. I'm often not sure how to get the best out of my pokemon and I don't like competitive battling.

The best way to guage sets for Megas is to just look at those used by their standard forms. More often than not the Megas function the same way only better.

But that's wrong, Sandstorm only does that for Rock-types.
Seeing as Rock is only barely above Ice as a defensive type, it's a sorely needed boost.
