What extra customization options do you want to see in pokemon A/Z? I want ninja clothes, bandages on hands/feet. Would suit my team perfectly.

The hat shows your status as protagonist. That's why PC Calem/Serena has a hat and Rival Serena/Calem has none.

The clothing was model-specific in XY. Hopefully the third game/sequels will be different. If not then you're SOL until Kalos remakes.

It's baffling that there aren't more NPCs in Hoenn that look like Phoebe. I mean at least give them a tan.

I was hoping ORAS would fix that and it did, but only somewhat. Most of the NPCs are still pasty as fuck.
