Gamefreak just doesn't feel like it, OP. It's not like they care about the fans, 85% of the people who buy this game are little kids and casuals and the other 15% who are the neck/b/eards of /vp/ will buy it anyway because we suck shit, so what more do you want to know? Gamefreak doesn't care, as long as they turn the maximum profit. A Patch wouldn't gain them anymore money, so why bother?

ORAS megas can't be used against XY, and for ranked battles, ORAS and XY have separate battle spots. the rest of the game is still completely compatible
