All of this. I don't want to hold out hope for Platinum story because Emerald's story was clearly superior to RS but ORAS still doesn't include many Emerald elements. Platinum is my favorite Pokemon game and it makes me sad that it will never be remade.

I'm one of the few people who seems to actually like D/P. but fuck, really not feeling Sinnoh remakes. By then mega and Fairy novelty will have worn off anyway, so what will the new features be?

Every gen has new features. Besides, one of the main appeals of remakes is seeing the games with updated graphics, soundtrack, etc. New features aren't the only aspect of remakes.

Otherwise, I'd hope that the region looks beautiful and that they don't get rid of the glorious bass/piano-heavy music they had in DPPt.

If they decide to use the DP plot for the main game at least make a decent postgame plot , which needs to include Giratina, a LARGE part of the Distortion World and maniac Cyrus,
Looker needs to stay. Charon can go, I never liked him.
Keep Darkrai and Shaymin as event ITEMS, not boring event giftmons.
Arceus would be cool, but not really needed.
The rematch café from Platinum needs to stay.
The Platinum dex needs to stay.

Basically, they can keep the shit plot from DP, but include the Platinum elements that actually made the gmes decent.

I agree with everything there except removing Charon. He was the driving force for the postgame quest, which was bretty gud (at least better than Buck being a dumbass, anyway).

And of course it goes without saying that Day/Night music better return.
