I had a Fakemon line idea that came to me in the shower the other day.
Twintales (Fairy), the Fairy Cat Pokemon.
Small black cat with a white patch of fur on its chest, green eyes. Two tails. Based on the Japanese Bakeneko/Nekomata, monster cats with two tails; and the Irish Cait Sidhe, Fairy Cats.
If Twintales is leveled up while holding the Witch Hat item, it evolves into:
Famewliar (Fairy/Ghost), the Familiar Pokemon.
Famewliar is a slightly larger cat who is completely solid black from head to toe, same green eyes as its pre-evo, with a Witch hat with stars on it and gold cuffs/bracelets around its front legs. Learns Moonblast, Hex, etc, a lot of status moves. Based on Witches' Familiars, magical helpers/minions, cats being the most common, along with toads, owls and crows.
If Twintales is leveled up while holding the King's Boots item, it evolves into:
Meownarch (Fairy/Fighting), the Cat King Pokemon. Meownarch is a slightly larger Twintales that now stands upright on two feet, is now wearing boots and a small crown and cape, and has a very regal-looking sword in one hand (paw?), a shield in the other. Learns King's Shield, Sacred Sword, Play Rough etc. Based on the Irish Cait Sidhe and the various "King of the Cats" stories.
