I like what they did to the body, looks nice in-game. The head is a travesty. The two shovel bits they stuck on are atrocious and make me feel dead on the inside because they were on the right track and blew it.

By far the worst aspect of the pokemon fandom, besides pokefuckers. Even if you dislike mega steelixes design, which is a fair opinion, it's not like steelix had even close to an appealing design itself.

I'm debating downloading the demo at all, looked boring when I watched Joe's run. Probably will just hold onto the code and use it only if it turns out we can't access the Megas we get in other ways (or if it's a chore to do so if there are alternatives).

The thing that hurts the most is that Steelix looks so badass. It really needed something like this because it deserves to be a decent mon. So the lost potential is what sucks the most. The crystal spikes looks awesome but it's all ruined by everything else going on. The stupid jaw protrusions, the clashy blue circles, the busy particles floating around. It's just a mess.
