Why are people trying so hard to find things that would get Serena and Clemont together? Didn't he already turn the idea down in XY009? And has Serena shown any interest in him at all? Okay, let's say Dish Network and Turner (operator of Cartoon Network etc etc) have a business deal. This deal allows Turner's channels to be carried and broadcasted on all of Dish Network's cable packages.
BUT WAIT.
Certain things come up such as expired contracts or one of the two companies begins to negotiate for more than what can be accomodated for, the asking price starts to get too high, and a dispute breaks out. In the process, all of Turner's channels get removed from Dish Network because neither company can settle on a price.
As a result, Turner (or in a general case, any dropped channel) appeals to the public and usually gets them to write or complain to Dish Network (or in general, any cable company) to bitch and moan about them wanting their channel back. At the same time, Dish Network is trying to appeal to the customers by flinging shit back at Turner.
Eventually, after tons of months pass, the two companies will reach a new contract and a new deal.
tl;dr: They do it for free.
