Thinking about that, yes, crashing the eShop is not the best idea ever, but maybe something like using those awful "pokémon points" in their site or others things like an event in XY to unlocke that and slow down these downloads would be better.

It was painful to me to just wait 2 hours, imagine for those are not even sure they will receive? People here in /vp/ are desperate for a reason.

i just emailed support, but even clicking the "Having trouble viewing this email? Click here" and opening it in a new window leaves me with the coupon image, so i'm not 100% sure it's yahoo

What time does it say y'all got the email? I saw something on Gamefaqs suggesting it may be a bad batch or something.
Mine says 9:01am but it definitely didn't show up in my inbox til about an hour ago.

If you right click the image and "view content", it shows that it's an image hosted by pokemon.com.
Servers are probably just overloaded with this shit. Be patient, if it doesn't load by later tonight maybe then email support.

I don't understand how much of a jew I'm allowed to be here. I signed up on their site yesterday, and that SHOULD be enough to get a code at some point, right? I'm fine with waiting so long as I don't have to go buy a digital copy of Pokemon TCG since I already own two copies of it physically.

If you haven't received the email at all yet, then I believe Nintendo has said they have all been sent out. You must have signed up too late/forgot to opt into the newsletter (or you are using a shitty email provider that doesn't even send stuff it considers spam to a spam folder).
