>>21421617This. Wouldn't be surprised if they spent most of the dev time on XY just making those models. The downside is that we're probably stuck with some of the really awful looking ones like Marshtomp and the flying models that just look awkward for the foreseeable future.
On the other hand if they don't have to redo the Pokemon every game they can put more actual content into the games now, and that's probably way more important.
