My fiance and I did a side by side FR/LG Nuzlocke. She wiped against Koga, rebuilt and dominated the E4, only losing one Pokemon to them before becoming champ. I made it to the E4 and lost a Pokemon to each member before losing to Gary. She encouraged me to build a new team, which I did, but I never trained them up to try again.

That was my first Nuzlocke. I can't play regularly anymore. I always have to Nuzlocke a new Pokemon game.

The Johto games are difficult to Nuzlocke, as between Morty and Price, there really isn't anywhere you can grind at, since all the wild levels are super low. I'd say one of the Gen V games.

The last digit of your trainer I.D. determines which starter you choose. 1-3 is grass, 4-6 is fire, 7-9 is water and 0 is your choice

It was pretty intense. Then it turned out, for some reason every fucking second Pokemon I ran into was a Ghost Type with Shadow Tag. I don't know why. It just was. And that's how I ended up losing. A Venusaur with Shadow Tag.

I guess, but you also need to remember the ones that you maybe didn't spend as much time with.

Regardless, I don't think boxing is cheating. I'm not using them again, and I'm not sending them to a non-Nuzlocke game if they died. It's just a place to consolidate all of my dead mons, and so I can go back and pay my respects from time to time,
