My rain team I'm gonna use. Think it'll be pretty cool flavor wise to take on team magma with it. Only using gen 3 pokemon and under.

Dumb question; in which version do you fight each team? I'm getting both, but like I said I wanna fight against team magma. I played the originals but someone told me it's different. I'm assuming Omega Ruby is the game you fight team magma and catch Groudon? Or am I completely wrong?

I'd go with Scizor to keep a nice balance since the Steel support could be useful.
9/10. I don't like Scizor and Gyarados because they have 4x weakness to common offensive types but it's your team. The rain team fighting Magma is a really cool idea and I like it a lot.

I believe you fight Magma in Ruby and catch Groudon, yes. I have a copy of Ruby.

I'd suggest the Hawlucha. For your type match ups, a special hitter would be good so maybe a Jolteon? A special sweeper would complement your team nicely.
