So I'm playing Pokemon X, and just evolved my Nincada...

I got my Ninjask, but no Shedinja. I have an empty slot in my party, so why is there no Shedinja? I checked online and it says you get Shedinja by having an empty slot in your party, so is the site I checked wrong or are there circumstances that will lead to you not getting a shedinja? Honestly not sure what to make of this.

You need an extra pokeball, and yes it needs to be an actual pokeball, no ultra balls or luxury balls or shit like that.

... Oh, that'd do it. I used up all my pokeballs catching low-level pokemon earlier, then forgot to buy new ones. Issue solved, time to load and buy some balls. Thanks guys!

I used to buy them in bulks of 10, for the premier ball. After starting to buy the premier in luminose, al my standar pokeballs keep unused.
Fast forward to postgame:
>280 pokeballs
>Never gonna use them
