Is it just me or have the pseudo-legendary Megas been really disappointing?

>Mega Tyranitar is the same thing but more spikes
>Mega Metagross is the same thing but is floating (which regular Metagross really should've done anyway)

I think megas look good. They conserve the essence of the originals.

Nah mate you shouldnt see it like this.
While Tyranitar has been adapted from Godzilla, the mega one comes from Space Godzilla.
Mega Metagross looks badass asf idk what you are talking about.
After achieving his dreams of being able to fly, Salamence evolved unto a predator capable of destroying any other dragon either airbone or on the ground.
Mega Garchomp is the fucking reaper.
If you keep seeing things negatively it will also affect your taste, plus most of the official arts are shitty while their IG look or most loyal
fan art interpretations are way better.

This. Both Tyranitars have the same amount of spikes anyway, except the ones on the legs. Mega T is also a fusion between all its precedent forms so it's even better.

I'm really surprised how few people see the connection between Mega TTar and Space Godzilla, its not that complicated and its one of the few that fits perfectly with the whole Mega thing.

Mega Metagross is just two Metagrosses (Metagrossi?), except one is smaller. Keeps the theme so whatever.

I think Salamence and Garchomp look fine, but I'm not too sure what the inspiration is supposed to be. Well, Salamence is clearly some kind of weird jet thing. Garchomp is supposed to look bulkier than the normal form which is reflected in the stats.

Metagross looks amazing, anon. It's a temporary battle form, so it levitates for more maneuverability, and its arms face forward for better scratching. Looks scary.
