So my friend got an idea that's hilarious. Someone wanted to trade with my friend and he put up shinies and legend for shits and giggles. The guy puts up a female hippowdon and tries to trick him. There are ways to easily spot when someone is lying or honest on GTS. Often the name of the person, the message, level and KB status of the pokémon and even at times the looks of their character face. Keeping all this in mind I often get nice GTS deals where about 80-85% is true about IV, EM and HA.

Yeah I usually would just say "Victini for trade"and have a nicknamed mon with the name I want. Most people will send a trade request as a passerby and it's harder to misunderstand.
