Led with his sableye and then switched to his chandelure to take the overheat. It was infiltrator instead of flash fire thankfully and it took over half. Landed a shadow ball but he had a kasib and lived. He won the next speed tie and got my chandy down to about a quarter after my own kasib. Unfortunately he won the last speed tie and took iut mine out. Brought in gourgeist for the obvious shadow sneak as he switched into sableye. Wow'd me but I had a rawst berry as I proceeded to take only a quarter of his health with phantom force. Imprisoned me so I couldn't wow him, so I went out into sableye to take the incoming wow. I out speed and tricked a scarf onto him and got his nutritious leftovers in return, and he backed out into gourgeist while I set up a calm mind. Dark pulsed and took him down to 25%.
he tricked to get my leftovers when I was at about a third health and finished him off. Recovered on his incoming chandy when he taunted me and brought sableye down to 3 after the burn. Switched iut to gourgeist to take the shadow ball, thankfully no defense drop as it was easily a 3hko. Able to land the leech seed and proceeded to recover stall him to death.
currently at 8-1 now, too bad I haven't progressed far enough in game to get the vs recorder on this save.
