With Halloween coming up, I thought this would be an interesting thread to bring up:

Has anything in Pokemon ever frightened you?
Whether it's from the games, a concept, etc...

When I was around 8 years old, I used to avoid entering the Ruins of Alph in Pokemon Crystal
at night time or if I was alone in a room. I don't know, there was something about the layout
of the map and the background music that just all came together really awkwardly and kind of scary.
I felt like someone was watching me or about to feast on my blood when I was in that area.
I know it sounds bizarre, but seriously, I have no idea why, but this is what I felt from that particular
area. That background music...

What irks me even more is that the BGM of that map is actually one of my favorites today despite
the spooky feel it gives me.

Anyway, what's frightened/scared you? (now or in the past)
