>>21448105I wouldn't have such a big problem with it, if they didn't do it with features which were just improvements. Being able to customize your character is an improvement. It's completely optional, and it allows you to have a fairly unique character for online. Pokemon following behind you I think should have also stayed in future games. There are a few other features as well.
Now this though. I don't need this feature to stay. There isn't a whole lot of purpose to go flying around on your pokemon if there aren't exclusive areas you can only explore when doing so. Which would detract from them being able to work on other things.
