I don't understand why people are singling out Metagross as being shit when it's really one of the better ORAS megas, though it's probably because a lot of people like Metagross but it's not some retarded strong mega that they wanted.
I'm thinking there's three camps:
First camp is people who saw a mere +10 to attack and/or compared it to a damage calc of Lopunny or whatever and then cried.
Second camp is people who tried to use Agiligross or whatever sets it ran back in gen 3, it sucked, and then they gave up.
Third camp is people who listened to the above two and just started shitposting.
Here's what Metagross is: it's not a sweeper. It's a bulky attacker and pivot. You use it on your offensive team to not lose a Pokemon to Latios, Mega Gardevoir, Azumarill, CB Dnite, Close Combat Pinsir, uh a bunch of stuff, actually, every time they're in front of something they check. It's no wallbreaker (Grass Knot on Slowbro is hilarious though,) but for offensive teams it's pretty damn hard to switch in to.
I know it's a shocking concept, an offensive pokemon that's not a sweeper, but just think about it for a second.
