Serperior gets Contrary, which lets it spam Leaf Storm with 2 + special attack boosts, but it's still a grass type with shit coverage both offensively and defensively. Worse, leaf storm is about the only good special attack it gets, leaving it to depend on hidden power for coverage. Even with the boosts, its 75 base special attack just won't hit that hard.
Feraligatr may be better off with Dragon Dance, several moves that abuse sheer force, and much better typing/movepool
