I unconciously ev train my in-game team.

If the opponent's going to send out a pokemon that gives s.atk ev when my attacker's out, i'll usually switch to a special pokemon even if I have a type disadventage.

I don't spend my pokeyen on anything except repels/super repels/max repels.
I know that cost/effectiveness ratio of super repels make it the best but fuck that, max repel gives me 50 more steps before I have to use another. However, I will sit there and buy lemonades for 10 minutes and end up with like 8 total just because PokeMart heal items are so expensive.

I only use 4 pokemon normally so I can carry around 2 that have some HMs, this stupid fucking game is badly designed I hate it I hate it.
Tend to use Gen 1 Pokemon over and over that I'm comfortable with and have used so many times. Sometimes I'll use a gen 3+ pokemon and then drop it for any reason I can. Purrloin looked cool, I like purple and I like cats, who knows, it might learn Pay Day. Then it evolved into a scene girl and I boxed it never to be seen again.

My kid brother really wanted a Mewtwo and was saving his Master Ball for it in Red version. I used it on an over leveled Golbat you found while surfing looking for missingno. I felt bad, but told him how cool and strong it was and how I envied him for having a level 100 Golbat. To this day his favorite is Golbat.

Everyone at my work knows I play pokemon and sometimes they bring it up to me when we're bored.

My secret is this: I give them all teams of 3 in my head, basing it around any Pokemon they've said they liked / is their favorite.

I then breed these teams in full on cart and gen some with tutor moves if I have to.

I then store these teams as babies away in my bank, in case any of them ever get XY.

They will never be used.

I have another one that's less autistic. I think, gotta run for food first

I really like Latias. In the HGSS event, I didn't want to hurt her so I just threw Pokeballs instead of weakening her.

Caught her on the third try and boxed everything but her. Then I went all over the map taking her to the most comfy areas, like the department store rooftop.

Typhlosion and Greninja are my favorite starters
I used to pretend i was Eusine in my living room walking around in circles and using Rock Smash on inanimate objects.
My two imaginary friends from childhood were a yellow Diglett Complete with inspector gadget extendo arms,legs and sig fEDORA, and a more muscular version of the Sailor sprite from Gold/Silver named Philippe.
When GenII came out Snubbul was my favorite.
During long car rides i would turn on the Game Corner music channel on the Silver pokegear and listen to it on loop for more than 30 min at a time.
I was legitimatly scared of giant Magcargo in the anime.
I hate furries but a female Anthropomorphic Arcanine is my ultimate fantasy,only her, fuck garde and punny.

Never fucking played gen 1. Well sorta, but I always get to around Brock's gym, get bored, save and quit, then never touch it again. It's sorta worse now because of the whole physical/special split. That makes the older games so much harder now. I've played FRLG and went through Kanto in GSC and HGSS just fine though so at least I'm familiar with the region.

You won't believe the number of times I've tried playing RBY. I really want to play it, I really do, but it just doesn't seem to work out. Maybe one day when I'm incredibly bored I'll try playing it again.

I haven't caught them all because when I heard ORAS was coming out I stopped my progress on that region so I can finish the Hoenn section of my living Pokédex there. I have all the other regions done, but I want finishing it to be special so I'm waiting for ORAS.

And it's implied that NFE learn more moves by levelling up to compensate for the lack of power, so they must be smart enough to realize this.

There were some other tough spots, but they were eventually filled in. I'm just glad I managed to get all of the Gen IV events when they happened, and the Plasma Freeze Deoxys.
