I'm not a fan of Boomburst, I can imagine Focus blast since everything gets focus blast, it would give him two amazing moves, and make him very viable.

At the moment, he is just "Muh hurricanes" and "Muh stone-edges".

Yeah, but they have yet to give Boomburst to a Pokemon with Sp.Atk stat higher than 95. So fat chance M-Pidgeot is getting one. Not that it would make it a good Pokemon anyway. No Guard is a good ability pretty much only because it makes every move with low acc, but a powerful side effect viable. Hurricane side effect is frankly not worth wasting a mega slot over, especially when there are much better burds available.

I don't see this thing lasting more than a few turns, might as well go all out when you have the chance. Could probably do something with Feather Dance/Roost as well but you're better off attacking. HP does garbage damage for coverage but what else can it do?

Don't forget it gets STAB hyper beam, could use as a last resort. Could replace it for something else though.

Pidgeot gets Work Up from Gen 5 you know. Yes it makes it Foul Play bait, but it's better than no special attack boosting moves at all.
