bearing in mind that according to the time line RS took place around the same time as RBGY and that Lysandre is, while not an old man, somewhat older than the protaganist of XY it wouldn't be too hard to conceive that GF might put a younger Lysandre and even a team flare origin story into the post game somewhere as a little extra like a looker mission or something.
