Why aren't you using a Dugtrio/Talonflame/Mega Gardevoir offensive core?

Alternately, Tyranitar survives but with such low health that it clears the way for Talonflame to nuke it with a Brave Bird.

If a pokémon needs to rely on focus sash to have a chance of KO and opposing pokémon is not a damn counter.

It doesn't HAVE to be a hard counter, it's a strong check that can do its job within the context of the offensive core it's a part of reliably.

Stealth rock is extremely common. Good luck "handling" a pokemon if you can't do so reliably.
70% of the time you'll get okho'd on the switch.
30% of the time you'll switch in, take a crunch, do 60% on the next turn and then be finished off by another crunch without getting a kill.

There's a team in the RMT Archive from this gen on Smogon that used Focus Sash + Swords Dance Breloom + Bisharp + Garchomp because the strategy revolved entirely around having Latias Defog + Healing Wish to set up the sweep. I myself had a lot of success with an offensive core of M-Pinsir and Bulk-up Talonflame by ensuring rocks would be off the field with a spinner, a defog user and where applicable a DP-style anti-lead w/ taunt.

Basically, unless you're absolutely shit at executing your strategy, stealth rocks being on the field is not an inevitability that needs to be factored into every calculation.
