If you want to be ballsy about it, pair up a Plus Ampharos with something that knows Magnetic Flux, preferrably holding an air balloon. Get as many boosts as possible then mega. This probably won't work all that well.

it gets interesting options such as cotton guard, eerie impulse and mold breaker hidden power ground to crush rotom-h which otherwise walls it. but thunderbolt actually does more to neutral targets after STAB than SE hidden power after the nerf so it would be exclusively for rotom-h. it also gets power gem which is kinda cool I guess but not really. that's about it. it's just a shitmon dude but if you insist on having a bad ELO you can use it

Well, there could potentially be no Follow Me or Rage Powder users in the meta (unless something new gets them, Vileplume would be great but I don't think it does)
And possibly no Talonflame either.
I honestly don't know. I can't think of any especially good (non mega) Poison, Flying or Bug types that will be able to take it out without copping stupid damage from Hydro Pump or Ice Beam.
Ludicolo is going to be great.

I mean it has 170 attack, 120 sp.A, and is bulky as hell, how is it worse? I get the speed drop sucks but a sand force boosted EQ coming off that attack is pretty powerful.

Not the anon you replied to, but the reason Garchomp tends to be more useful than Mega Garchomp is that you have to sacrifice Rough Skin, and the option of holding Lum, Rocky Helmet, Sash, Yache, etc.

All of which are pretty important to Garchomp in the first place. Plus, you have to teambuild more around Mega Garchomp, than if you were to use standard Garchomp.
