I think Powersaves just bricked my Y game

i'm inserting it into my 3ds, and it's not read at all. Like the icon doesn't appear at all, fuck my life. Has anyone had the same thing happen to them before? I don't know what to do now, like all my competitive pokemon are on that cart, shit. Should I call datel or what?

Yeah, they will. Just start a file, get far enough to where you can save, then load your latest backup onto the cart and your save will be there.

This has to be done on a new cart if your cart is bricked though.

When was the last time you backed it up? If you just get a new cart along with a new cable, you can get all of your mons back really easily.

You wouldnt be able to restore a different card's save due to the fact that each cart has a different unique key so that means different KeyY values which means different xorpads..

Competitive mons for ORAS will need to be Hoenn born. The pentagon remains to show it's born within Gen 6 games, although, competition will need to be Hoenn born and not Kalos. Free and rated battles will still allow mons born anywhere.

OP, same thing happened to me. As far as I know, you're pretty much fucked, BUT you can still use pokebank and transfer your mons to a different game. Anything in your party or in the battle box is lost though
