Naive, allows you to go specially mixed with Protect, Diamond Storm, Moonblast, and Earth Power (via tutor).

It's stupidly scary and with hazard support, close to nothing switches in to it safely.

Possible Hidden Power Types: Electric, Grass, Ground, Poison
Possible Hidden Power Attack Powers: 49

I'm aware of that. I'm also aware that on wifi and in official competitions levels are set to 50, so having a speed IV of 30 wouldn't matter. However some people in the thread seem to think that they have to get a 31 IV in speed, which isn't the case if you want HP Fire. You're looking for a speed IV of 30 if you want to get HP Fire and not be outsped by other base 110 speed pokemon.

Which is why I posted in the first place. IF you want HP Fire, you're looking for a speed IV of 30, not 31. Which is more difficult to get, since you're guaranteed to get at least three 31 IVs but aren't guaranteed to get any 30s.

As soon as you mega, you're using your new defensive stats. So yes, it does need protect. Well, "need" is a strong word, but it's highly recommended, at least if you're using it in the way that poster suggested.

You can give it substitute, rock polish, stealth rock, etc. if you want, but you've gotta remember to think of it as having 50 speed and 50/110/110 defenses until you mega.

Genesect was available via Wi-Fi gift. Deoxys was available through Pokémon Ranger and Darkrai was Wi-Fi gift for the Newmoon Island event in Platinum, then Wi-Fi gift for a special promotion a few years ago. They've made it harder in the past year or so.

Even if you change Diancie's IVs and Nature, it's still fully usable in Battle Spot, can be Pokebank'd, etc etc.

The origin of the Pokemon/level obtained is really what can trigger the "illegal" signal. Every Pokemon I've maneuvered through Powersaves hasn't been detected yet.

It's not that big of a fucking deal.

Well, I'm out. I've soft reset hundreds and hundreds of times and without the 3 IV guarantee, it's just not worth it. What's the point of even having a viable Diancie (or any other legendary outside trios/lati@s) anyway? There's no point in using it ingame, as I'm basically done with XY, it'll mindlessly steamroll the main story of ORAS, and it will be forever banned from Battle Maison/Resort/etc. Diancie will never been allowed in official tournaments/wifi competitions/ranked cart battles. The only use for it is in free battles, where legendaries are either hacked or come with garbage IVs that get them wrecked by pokes who have no business wrecking them.

So I settled on the next Naive one I got. Here's the stats on my 'superior' (to the judge anyway) Diancie:
20/10/24/26/26/18 with HP Electric. Woo.
