I tried to make my team as type diverse as possible and tried to include as many mega evolutions as possible. So what do you think? Any thing you would change? Did I do something stupid?

My (Tentative) Team:
>Bulbasaur
>Mudkip
>Sharpedo
>Houndoor
>Mareep
>Swablu

Also wanted to use as many pokemon that I havent used as possible.

If you absolutely must pick Mudkip (you fucking lunatic), drop Sharpedo from your party, its water and dark types are redundant.

Also, Mareep, Houndour, and Bulbasaur will likely not be in ORAS (they weren't in RS), so unless you plan on trading, swap em. I suggest Cacturne or Shiftry, Manectric or Raichu, and Ninetales or maybe Torkoal or Camerupt to replace them.

Again, unless you're trading for them.

I did plan to trade them. I wanted mudkip because I have never used it and am sick of torchic and dont like treeko. I wanted another water type for my party because I dont want to teach my starter HMs. I was also thinking maybe I would use Luxray or Manetric like you said, but wasn't sure.

Your team is very, very bulky, but has big flaws

Mega Venasaur works as a wall and it's fucking neat. It's got the movepool, stats, typing and ability to make a serious defensive threat

Mega Swampert on the other hand is an extremely good tank that is god incarnate in terms of sweeping as long as there's rain. It can also be used wit Curse in non-rain team even though it lacks recovery outside of rest (which isn't a huge con with its magnificent bulk and typing, it just forces you to waste a slot on Sleep Talk). It can swiftly dismantle offense.

Mega Houndoom is a very good special sweeper. Unfortunately its difficult for it to get the sun it needs to wreck everything, since it doesn't have the good typing or half the bulk Mega Swampert does. Still a cool pokemon to use

Mega Sharpedo usually needs to waste a moveslot on Protect to get a speed boost before Mega Evolving unless you are ballsy enough to run Swords Dance and rely on predicted switches. If you do it right, it's deadly, but can be a bit hard to use (1/2)

Mega Ampharos even if its ability isn't useful for it, has a good typing that resists very important stuff and that also has very, very nice coverage on its STABS alone. It also has a very useful slow Volt Switch that basically allows it to take a hit, damage the opponent and get a free switch for something more useful or that can take advantage of the situation. All in all its an outstanding pivot and tank that also hits really damn hard. Its only defect is having no recovery (Regenerator Mega Amppharos y no?)

Mega Altaria can run a huge variety of sets, physical, special, defensive... You name it. It has an excellent typing combination that is its biggest virtue and usually ditches its Dragon Stab to use the stronger Pixelate Return/Hyper Voice rounded up with Fire Blast or Earthquake depending on the set. This leaves it room for Roost and a boosting move of choice, Dragon Dance, Calm Mind or Cotton Guard... For all Mega Altaria has going for it, it lacks one thing: stats. It's mediocre at best in all areas and if you don't play it to its strengths it won't be very useful I fear. Do it right tho and you've got a swiss army knife in your hands.

The problem is... All these mons loose a lot outside their Mega forms and you can only have one mega, so I'd recommend telling us the format (VGC, Smogon, Doubles, Triples, Battlespot, In Game/Cartridge), pick the mega most suited for the format and then build your team around it.
