I heard some people who got the codes early were getting no 3 31 IVs on their diancie, however on the date the event started, when they had soft reset they started to get 31s.

I'm going to try SRing at midnight, apparently for some people it was some shit to prevent people from getting perfect ones too early? Some also say this is a glitch, but I'm betting on the time issue. Also mine was from an anon in the gameplanet thread, I'm NA, physical no previous diancie.

I will be getting a code from gamestop, and trying it on a digital copy.

My time zone is the same one as Game Planet's. I obtained my code 13 minutes 'early'.

Serial codes are a step backwards in my opinion. The old procedure was giving Gamestops a special cartridge that distributed events through local wireless. A cartridge that would keep broadcasting until the event period was over Supply wasn't an issue at all. Now? It's first come first serve and you're fucked if your particular store has a ton of traffic and they run out of cards early on.

I heard the distro carts would often get sold or stolen and people would use them to get unlimited events.

I saw at least two distribution carts (with Celebi and Darkrai) being thrown around like nothing on several anime conventions and people downloading dozens of events whenever they fucking pleased. Good times.

also acquired the movie pre-event Japanese Diancie clone with 3 IVs Adamant nature from Lopunny's giveaway thread back in July and powersaves x pokemon bank cloning method a few and moved some to my digital copy of X. also acquired a fake Diancie wondercard from powersaves which became overwritten (i still have the illegitimate Diancie) when I used powersaves for Japan-exclusive non-Diancie events in the same wondercard slot

Gamestop Diancie is my only legit Diancie and the stats are great
