Excuse my newfag question since I just really got into breeding.

When people say you can't have a hidden ability in an apricorn ball, they been that it simply can't be bred in one right? Like even if you use s male with the HA, it simply won't happen?

Correct. There are no pokemon in apricorn balls with hidden abilities because they weren't in gen 4, and a male can only pass down a hidden ability when bred with Ditto.

HA Male x non-HA Female always produces non-HA offspring.

Does the ability really matter? I bred a jolly one with 5 IVs and encore/fake out/switcheroo/cosmic power (thank you smeargle), female in a love ball, but with klutz, can i still use the mega stone?

Limber is much better because it lets you switch into T-wave before mega evolving, and klutz and run away are obviously useless. It's not huge but it helps.

I'm actually wondering about that myself, but I would assume you can, and even then you can just use a capsule.

item-related moves dont work for when the pokemon has a megastone
such as fling, knock off, and embargo
asusming klutz is a permanent embargo, i say you can go on and megaevolve normally
