I don't know why you'd even compare it to Medicham other than typing. They do very different things.

Medicham is a very simple mega.

>click appropriate coverage move (if in doubt, click HJK)
>watch something die
>repeat

Gallade is a lot more versatile than Medicham is but, but it isn't able to nuke the entire Pokedex barring like 3 mons.

-More power without setting up

Pros Gallade has over Medicham:
-Higher Speed
-Higher bulk
-Better movepool (includes Swords Dance and Knock Off)
-Uses Close Combat instead of High Jump Kick
-Basically better in every single way except it 'only' has 165 base attack as opposed to 249

Talonflame RKs like half of everything by the way, but go tell that Keldeo who's S-rank anyway.

It honestly might not, but only cause it and medicham will just sap each other's usage, along with all the other megas. Its problem won't be that it's not good, but that there's just too many good megas now. imo if a mega is OU or not will be a shitty determination of how good it is, we've never had pokemon that are exclusive to other pokemon (except like Rotom forms and the genies pretty much.)

Gallade has terrible 4MSS that leaves it walled by too much OU shit to make an impact on the meta. That doesn't make it a bad mega in its own right, but it's not going to usurp Medicham anytime soon. If anything, competition from Lopunny is what's going to stop Gallade from being truly relevant in OU.

Unaware Clefable is the only thing that can actually wall Gallade.

Lopunny functions completely differently, it's not really strong but that STAB coverage and high speed make it a better anti-offense poke

Fighting STAB + knock off are pretty much guaranteed on every Gallade, which is already perfect neutral coverage. From there you can either pick ice punch, swords dance or zen headbutt.

Uh then just SD+Zen Headbutt, because Lando-T doesn't have recovery, especially if it switches in to Knock Off and loses Leftovers. It also takes a lot of damage from +1 Zen Headbutt (2HKOed even with 252/252+ spread, 252/0 spread takes a min of 67%) and it can't OHKO Gallade back.

So yeah, that's not really 4mss

What Togekiss sets actually use Dazzling Gleam? Aura Sphere+Air Slash is excellent neutral coverage and Flamethrower hits most of its would be checks.

Besides, Togekiss is still shit, and it's not particularly surprising that a fighting type loses to a bulky fairy.
